Me

I was  born and raised in beautiful Southern California. When senior year of high school approached I knew I wanted to move somewhere else in the nation and ended up choosing the University of Colorado Boulder. Upon completing my BA I had fallen in love with Colorado so much that I knew there was no way I could leave. Honestly, I thought I’d never leave Denver. I was blessed with incredible friends and opportunities, including dancing for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. No complaints.

Then in 2008 I met a funny, handsome Canadian. Every time I travel to a new country I often come back with dreams of moving to a new continent, but who doesn’t. Realistically though I never thought I’d actually leave the good ol US of A. But sometimes your heart takes you to places you don’t expect and mine led me to British Columbia, Canada. My life was already in transition as I had quit my job and decided to go back to school to pursue a career in the medical field so I  foolishly thought, well what would one more change matter?

I’ve been living in BC since 2010 and enjoy exploring my new surroundings. I’m currently a nursing student, pursuing my Bachelor in the Science of Nursing. Its a tough program that challenges me everyday in different ways. In my spare time (when it exists!) I enjoy running, cooking, dancing and singing in the shower.
